Album history

Sacred Science was recorded in Spring/Summer 2009.
All of the musical tracks were recorded in Ekiti Son & Fuform studios in SE London , Vocals where recorded in various countries around the world. The final mixes where completed in New Cross. Ellie Lawson is from London. Nina is Nimbus lives in HK. Valeska & Elle P are from Germany. Jehn & Scarlet Monk are from the USA

Album title and alternative titles

Ekiti Son. "The title of the album came about in Miami I was at the WMC. It was originally called the sacred science of beats as it was a going to be the instrumental album to follow the album Nepotism. I wanted the words sacred science to appear in the lyrics of every song but only Nina is Nimbus did it so she got the title song. I also wanted to call it "Give me room and the power of the sun" I had a few titles I think I chose a good one.

Artwork and special editions

Ekiti Son. "I saw this image (Canadian Model Elle)& knew I had to use it as an album cover. Elle took the photograph & is the model for the photo thankfully she kindly gave me permission to use it. I lot of people thing Elle & Ekiti Son are the same person or one of the vocalists. The Artwork/design is by Triverse Massacre drummer/Lungfull design Graphic artist Mike Collins. He created the covering artwork & chose the fonts" There is another version of this cover which has a blue hue it features the Instrumentals & Accapellas which is available via Amazon & iTunes

Musical style

Sacred Science features electronic beats and samples.
sonic manipulations with software programs such as Cubase, and Pro Tools. Ekiti Son "I improved! I wanted a to make a better album than the last one. I am minimal which is my style but I wanted to ramp it up a little more bass more glitch some experimentation, "The last two studio records [Subliminal and Nepotism] were both vocal free minimal beat records. i thought that's it. I can't just do that anymore. let's try something new
I am an expert in & inspired by the music of the 90's haha. I like to think my stuff is like that with a 21st century twist. Of course I was inspired by 90's 80's music. It's beats and vocals really, lots of influences in there, hip hop, reggae, techno sounds, bass music etc hard beats with sweet female vocals & melodies"
